Hanging Painting and Calligraphy Show to be opened

The Hanging Painting and Calligraphy Show was approved to be one of the activities held in the Second ICIF by the organizing committee recently.

About 100 pieces of works ranging from 300 to 800 square kilometers will be hung on skyscrapers along Shennan Thoroughfare centered around venue of the 2ndICIF, the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, from 15 to 24 May.

The show plans to invite well-known domestic experts and local artists in this field to create works of calligraphy and painting, part of them themed on the 2ndICIF and harmonious Shenzhen.

The works when finished will be enlarged and spray-painted with color varnish. They will be stamped and firmed up on a vertical axis.

To make the Hanging Painting and Calligraphy Show more vivid, a grand concert showcasing Chinese traditional music will be staged before the opening of the show. Renowned Erhu players Min Huifen, Song Fei and Guzheng player Wang Zhongshan will put up performances.
