The ICIF Main Forum "International Cultural Trade and China" Startup

At present, the second ICIF has assured the main forum. Themes on "International cultural trade and China", the forum discusses the international cultural trade practice, studies how does China cultural enterprise go abroad, and occupy the international market, develop the cultural trade, strengthen the cultural competitive, and improve the overall national strength of China.

Along with the internationalization of China, the China foreign cultural trade has won historical increase. But as a thirdly international trade country, China is still under a trade deficit situation in the development of the foreign cultural trade. The problem facing us is how to change this situation. In order to lucubrate and seize the rules of International cultural trade, to form some idea of forefront trends of International cultural trade, and to tone up the exchange & cooperation between China cultural enterprises and oversea cultural enterprises, Culture Research Center of Shenzhen Special Zone and Shenzhen International Cultural Industry Fair Co. Ltd.joint sponsor the "International Cultural Trade (China) Forum", effectively strengthen the discuss of the research on International cultural trade.

The forum plans to invite nine lecturers (about 40m per capita), includes governmental officials at home and abroad, cultural scholar and president of the cultural enterprise, discusses the theory and situation of China & International cultural trade from various aspects. The content of the forum includes: introduce the basic matter of the International foreign cultural trade, rules & practice of WTO and so on; introduce the situation and related policies of China cultural trade; the troubles we are facing in the development of foreign cultural trade, and the needed qualifications for an enterprise to develop the foreign cultural trade; in the face of the global cultural market, how does a cultural enterprise win.

The forum will cooperate with CCTV, and record a subject program "Talk of International Cultural Trade (China) Forum". What's more, the forum will collect the thesis on "cultural trade" in China and around the world, and choose the high-leveled thesis, which represent the developing trend of cultural trade and show the hotspot & difficulty of cultural trade, index them into theReports of International Cultural Trade (China) Forum 2006with the professional lecturers of the forum, and punish in due form.

The form will invite Public officials at all levels;the principals of Publicity Department, Culture Bureau, Administration of Radio & Television, Administration of Press & Publication, Tourism Bureau, Sport Bureau, Association of Literary Art, Association of Authors, Media Group and Press Group of the provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities; the Cultural Ambassadors of all countries to China; principals of cultural enterprises; cultural professional persons; investors and financial merchants;citizens to take part as an audience. The forum will also special invite 15-20 media representations, includes graphic, solid, network and so on over 10 medias, CCTV, Phoenix TV, People's Daily, China Culture Daily, Guangming Daily, Economic Daily, China Economic Herald, China Industry and Commercial Times, China Radio International, medias of Guangdong & Shenzhen and so on. They will give special subject publicities and reports to the forum.
