Last morning, Wang Jingsheng, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee, Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee, visited Dafen, and expressed that Dafen is not only a branch venue of the ICIF, but also a luminescent spot of the ICIF, we should pay full attention on the spot, focus on some brands, keep on and strengthen the cultural brand.

With a certain scale, the related administrations pay high attention on Dafen Oil Painting Village. On the 1st ICIF, as a branch venue, Dafen held several national-level activities, received extensive attention from every areas of the society., and became a famous brand of Shenzhen cultural industry. May18-21, 2006, the 2^ndICIF will be held in Shenzhen, as a branch venue, Dafen is carrying though the related preparation now. The scheme of Dafen third-stage reconstruction has been laid down, now the project is inviting the tender and it will be finished at the end of January 2006. The establishment of the design project in Dafen Arts Museum and so on works is under process.

The Principal of Longgang Area says that, in the beginning of this year, Dafen Oil Painting Village only had 305 shops; it had reaches 552 in October. Among them, 8ernterprises benefit more than ten million per year; there will be more than 600 in advance. The increase of the industrial factory, the development of the focus trade market of oil painting, after the opening of Huangjiang Oiling Painting Arts Square in the first half year, the Jiyiyuan Oil Painting City, which is start in the second half year, gathers more than 20 oil painting enterprises, the "Dafen Louvre" which is invested and reconstructed by the painting merchants, will open later.

This year,New York Timesof America,Financial Timesof England, KBS of Korea, Phoenix TV and so on media report on Dafen Village one and another. The administration office of Dafen Oil Painting Village plans to organize some painting enterprises to participate in the West(Kunming) Cultural Industry Fair ,which is held in December, Kunming, and the special performance on painting exhibition, which is held in next spring, America.

Wang Jingsheng fully praises the development and changes of Dafen, he says, Dafen Oil Painting Village started from a spontaneous distributing center of painting production and copy, now it has became a famous demonstration base of cultural industry around the country. Wang Jingsheng and his group visited the family numbers of the painting labors, through the coordination, the settle problem of the painter has been solved, the first 8 painters, who meet the conditions, are authorized to settle. More than 100 painting labors joined the test. At present, it is carrying on a work of grading and confirming the settle proportion.
