The ICIF promoted its international position, held a promotion conference to ambassadors to China of more than 20 countries, in Pekin

[Nov.30, Pekin] On Nov.30, the Pekin Embassies Promotion Gala Banquet of the 2^ndICIF is held in Hilton Hotel, Pekin. The attendee including the ambassadors to China of more than 20 countries, the related national ministries & commissions, and the related leader of Shenzhen Municipal People's Government.

Yan Xiaopei, the vice mayor of Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, delivered an opening speech. The representations discussed on how could the 2^ndICIF attract more guests and friends from the world. The ambassadors to China of Australia, Egypt, and Bengal agreed with the Organizing Committee of ICIF on the cooperation matters concerned. According to the introduction, the main hall of the 2^ndICIF will be set in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center; the total area will reach 105.000 square meters, including more than 4500 standard booths. There are nine professional exhibition halls, including China Cultural Industry Achievement Trade Hall, Vocational Education Hall, Creative design Hall, Media Technology Hall, International Performing Hall, Chinese Publication Hall, Animation and Game Hall, Arts and Crafts Hall, Painting and Calligraphy Hall. What's more, it's also including the cultural industry exhibitions, trades, forums, conference and so on related subjects.

Yun Weicheng, executive deputy director of the Organizing Committee Office, introduced that, the 2^ndICIF will promote its international position, now, by the Ministry of Culture of the PRC, the 2^ndICIF had already sent the invitation to the misters of cultural of more than 20 countries, then, we will visit America, Canada, Japan, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand in group, and develop our promotion of business invitation and exhibition invitation.

According to the introduction, the more than 20 cultural counsellors, who attended on the Pekin Embassies Promotion Gala Banquet of the 2^ndICIF, will organize the famous cultural enterprises of their countries to participate in the fair, and organize the buyers of their countries to visit and purchase on the ICIF. On the occasion of the promotion conference, the counsellors to China of Australia, Egypt, and Bengal agreed with the Organization Committee of ICIF on the cooperation matters concerned. They expressed clear that Australia will hold the Movie Week on the ICIF, Egypt will hold the cultural relics exhibition, and Bengal will exhibit the arts & crafts and exchange on the ICIF.
