Yunnan Satellite TV was among the first group of satellite TV stations in China, and its TV signal covers the whole nation as well as more than 40 countries and regions in Asia Pacific Region. In Yunnan Province, the number of viewers covered by the satellite TV signal accounts for 99.4% of the total number of viewers in the province. At the beginning of 2004, Yunnan Satellite TV launched a "bright spot project". Reasonable time sections arrangement, columns setup, and high-quality programs have been loved by more and more viewers nationwide.
