Se t up in 1983, Shenzhen University is located at the beautiful Shenzhen Deep Bay and covers 1.44 m²of land. Yuen Long, Hong Kong is just on the other side of the sea. The University has a quite nice environment, with high buildings, green trees, and flowers in blossom. The architectural style is clear, simple, natural, and harmonious.

Since its setup, Shenzhen University has exerted its geographic advantages (located in the special zone and adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao), and relied on the social environment of reform and opening up to spare no efforts for development. The University has attracted attention from people from all walks life both from home and abroad.
