The “Count Down Meeting of the 2nd ICIF” was held successfully.

  

  The leaders pointed, the 2nd ICIF should be held with both scale and quality. There are two symbols of the success of the 2nd ICIF, one is its influence, and the other is its sales volume. ICIF is not only concerned with the hosts and sponsors, but also an important affair of Chinese cultural export.
      Mr. Li Yizhen, the vice secretary of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee, Mr. Wang Jingsheng, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee, director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee, and Miss Yan Xiaopei, vice mayor of Shezhen, held the meeting, required to achieve the ICIF preparation with high quality, and establish a cultural exchange platform.       
      Mr. Li Yizhen gave a speech in behalf of the organizing committee of the ICIF and the Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government. He pointed that the preparation of the ICIF received support from the central leaders, Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, Ministry of Culture, State Administration of Radio, Film and Television of the PRC and Guangdong Provincial People’s Government. The later 100 days are very important, especially the latter 50 days. The result of exhibition and business invitation will be confirmed in these 50 days. So we should try our best to do the preparation well.
      As a city ranking first on the export volume for 10 years, Shenzhen should urged promote the export of the cultural products, increase the cultural export day by day.
      Mr. Li Yizhen expressed, ICIF is not only a cultural gala, but also a test to the cultural construction of Shenzhen. Every departments and districts should do the preparation of the ICIF actively.
     
1. Summed up the experience and lack of the 1st ICIF, drafted the plan of the 2nd ICIF, ensured the theme of “creativity and science”, and made the aim to establish a cultural export platform.
      2. The successfully held of the promotion activities. ICIF made full use of the chance of the various expos and governmental foreign affairs, held 13 promotion activities in China and oversea, and received great effect.
    
4. The overseas exhibition and business invitation received great success. ICIF had made the Preferential Measure for the Oversea Sale and the Scheme for the Organizing of Oversea Preferential Visitors and other preferential policies, and cooperated with the overseas agencies. At present, ICIF had signed the contract with 9 agencies. What’s more, ICIF will organize the exhibition of arts and crafts, painting and calligraphy.
      5. The coordinated activities, like forums, auction, financing projects, award and so on, are under preparation.
      Wang Jiangsheng said, we should notice the important of the ICIF, increase the publicity, spread the effect of the ICIF; try the best to promote the business and exhibition invitation, attract more professional buyers, investors and agencies to take part in the 2nd ICIF; try the best to perfect the service, promote the export of the cultural products.
