The Second China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Fair (ICIF) -China's only State-level cultural industry fair, hosted by the Ministry of Culture of the PRC, the General Administration of Press and Publication of the PRC, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television of the PRC, the Guangdong Provincial People's Government and the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government, sponsored by Shenzhen Press Group, Shenzhen Media Group, Shenzhen Circulation Group, and Shenzhen International Cultural Industry Fair Co.,Ltd. will be held in Shenzhen every May.
The first ICIF laid the foundation of China's sole national-level international comprehensive cultural fair, where an integrated platform was built in culture, radio, film, TV, press and publishing for exhibiting cultural products, trading cultural industry factors and exchanging information in cultural industry.
The second ICIF will be held from May 18 to 21,2006 in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, it will see a further increased level in internationalization, market orientation and specialization and, especially, in facilitating trade. The fair, therefore, is expected to become the largest export platform for China's cultural products with the richest resources and the most complete varieties.
