Tne Second China (Shenzhen) International Industry Fair (ICIF) is held at the room of plum blossom in Shenzhen Exhibition Center at 9:30 on 18th May. It is the biggest scale Fair of cultural industry, as well as a significant affair in China’s cultural field. Thousands of cultural celebrities gather here from overseas and all over China, sharing the achievement of culture.

    The opening ceremony is hosted by the Mr. XU Zhongheng, mayor of Shenzhen. Firstly, Mr. Wangtaihua, Director of ICIF Organizing Committee, vice minister of CPC Publicity Department and Director of State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, delivers a speech. And then, Mr. Huang Huahua, Director of ICIF Organizing Committee and Governor of Guangdong Province, gives a speech. State Councillor Ms.Chen zhili announces the opening ceremony of the second China (Shenzhen) ICIF.

    Cultural celebrities all over the world gather here.The visitors include about 70 ministerial level leaders and the cultural ministers of five countries from Kampuchea, Korea, Mauritius, Serbia and Montenegro and and Venezuela. During the exhibition, there are also about 500 foreign cultural experts, ambassadors, overseas Chinese businessmen and 3,400 overseas buyers, retailers and trade visitors..

    There are 4,500 standard booths and 1,500 enterprises in the 2nd ICIF. The scale of exhibition has doubled and the number of enterprises is one time more than the previous session. 34 provinces (autonomous regions), city governments and 26 cities abroad attend the 2nd ICIF. It performs strong profession, wide resources and high-level positions, for there are 21,000 trade visitors, 3,400 of which come from overseas countries or regions.

    Meanwhile, it is clarified by line, showing mainly the high-tech products and service of cultural industries ,such as creative design, media technology, performing arts, publishment, cartoon, arts and crafts, arts of painting and calligraphy, vocational education,etc.

    It is mainly aimed at building up several professional brands, for example, "design", "movies, television","cartoon, games", "media","performing arts" and arts and crafts",etc,many forums, wonderful activities.

    A series of fantastic cultural activities will be held in the second ICIF , including 12 forums ,such as the forum of cultural strategy of development, the forum of 2006 China international cultural industry, the international forum of the press,the forum of international gallery runners,etc,24 topic meetings,for instance the live meeting of digital TV,the recommendation of investment of the China cultural industry, the best international design of China(Shenzhen),etc,15 auction activities,such as the aution of China arts works,the auction of the draft ,the auction of China painting and calligraphy,the auction trade of China famous arts exhibition,etc,four present rewards activities,for example the creative prizes of China cultural industry,the evaluation and honor of China arts and crafts,etc.The ICIF was organized by PRC culture department, the headoffices of national broadcasting, the main press of PRC news publish, the governments of Guangdong province and Shenzhen city.And it held by the Shenzhen press group, Shenzhen Media group ,Shenzhen Circulation Group and Shenzhen international cultural industry Fair co.ltd. The period of exhibition is from 18th May to 21th May.The major conference is located in Shenzhen Exhibition Centre and nine exhibition positions, including cultural industry, creative design,media technology,performing arts, press ,cartoon,arts and crafts, painting and calligraph,professional education,etc. Inaddition,there are six branches, such as Dafen oil-painting village,Shenzhen Curio city,Shenzhen Shuibei internation jewelry,Shenzhen Manjing Sino-art exhibition centre,Shenzhen Yingjing National Animation& Caricature industry base and Artron arts exhibition, which all welcome you on 16th,17th and 19th May.
